Pontus Jansson has once again opened up about his Leeds United future, to Swedish media channel, Aftonbladet.
The centre half, says he really “enjoys Leeds” but he needs to seem ambition and that now is the time for Leeds to be taken into the Premier League.
Jansson, has before expressed his desire to play in the Premier League and has said he wants to achieve this with Leeds and only last year signed a five year contract with the club.
However with West Ham, Burnley and of course Southampton rumoured to be interested in him could he be lured away?
Jansson, insists however nothing will be set in stone until after the World Cup and that his main focus is currently with the upcoming tournament in Russia.
He insists he wants to stay in England and hopes United can show some ambition to get the club back to the Premier League.
With the recent 49ers investment and the what seems imminent appointment of Marcelo Bielsa as Head Coach, Pontus could be seeing the ambition he craves.
