Poland international Mateusz Klich is currently undergoing a medical at Leeds United and looks set to be Thomas Christiansen’s first summer signing.
Klich, 27, had been heavily linked with a move to Leeds over the last few days and today saw the former Kaiserslautern player drop a major hint that he could be on the way to a new club.
The FC Twente midfielder has picked up interest from a host of clubs around Europe but the Whites appear to be have won the race for his signature.
Klich sent Leeds United fans into rumour overdrive when posted on his Snapchat account that he was on his way out of Holland:
And it’s now been confirmed by the Yorkshire Evening Post’s Chief Football writer, Phil Hay, that the box-to-box midfielder is set to become Thomas Christiansen’s first signing:
Understand that Mateusz Klich is undergoing a medical with Leeds United. Deal agreed with FC Twente. #lufc

With Klich on his way to West Yorkshire, it could see the end of captain Liam Bridcutt’s Leeds career with the Sun previously linking the Scottish International with a reunion with former boss Garry Monk at Middlesbrough.
Although it would be a loss losing such an experienced player, stats from last season show that the Whites were more successful without the 28-year-old, in particularly after his injury in the win against Blackburn Rovers, winning 9 out of 13 league games without Bridcutt.
